​Surrealist Spirit Animals

​6th Grade
​

During this lesson segment, students learned about how artists explore their personal identities through their artwork. After analyzing and interpreting artwork created by Surrealists and Contemporary Native American Artists, students created their own artwork depicting an animal that represents who they are.
