Matisse's GolDfish
Kindergarten and 1st Grade learned that artists create art about experiences and about how art is made to enhance an environment by studying Henri Matisse's The Goldfish. For inspiration, we set up our own peaceful place with goldfish, plants, and flowers in the classroom. Our projects were based on what made each of us, individually, feel calm.
