The Preservation of Childhood
[Through Printmaking]

4th and 5th grade learned about how art is a form of preservation that teaches us about how people lived in different time periods. Students also analyzed and discussed Ancient Egyptian artwork and children's toys. Then students created their own preservation jars containing objects that represent their childhood using reduction printmaking.
